Welcome to the more random posts on my blog. These uploads can range from new music finds that I think the readers should listen to through items that are just absolutely random. This is just how my mind works, and processes information, so buckle up cause this could be a rollercoaster. This blog will focus on musical talents and how the music industry works. Artists like Ariana Grande, Drake, Jon Bellion, Logic, etc… all work for a music label. Some of these artists venture out to create their own labels to assist other rising artists. One example of this happening is with Jon Bellion. This is my favorite musical artist to listen to, the rhythm and style of his albums are never the same and in interviews, he has stated that he would rather make music that spoke to the audience, rather than following the classic four-chord structure that allows a song to become a hit. Artists like Jon Bellion have opened a door for rising groups like Lawrence the Band. Jon used his own label, Beautiful Mind Records, to assist Lawrence and gave them the opportunity to go on Jon’s latest tour with him. This tour created a strong outlet to introduce this group's music eventually leading to their opportunity to perform on the Today Show. They performed their latest single “Casualty.” With new records being focused like Jon Bellion’s it can be guaranteed that more styles of music will be introduced continuing the evolution of music into something that can perfectly reach a listener to whatever music suits them. Music is a big connection to my life. I love following this evolving industry and how each artist evolves their own music throughout the years.
