New Year, New Me?

With the New Year approaching I have already been asked what some of my New Year Resolutions are. After thinking about this I decided that I want to focus on five things. The first one is a classic, develop a plan to have a workout routine or schedule. When I work out, I feel better about myself, find time to focus on tasks that need to be completed, promote a healthier lifestyle, and keeps me in shape. With the Winter months among us, it is difficult and uncomfortable to go outside for a twenty-mile bike ride in the cold, snow, and icy conditions. The second resolution I have is working on my relationship with my family. I have struggled to keep my family a priority and want to focus on rebuilding our relationship. With building this relationship I am going to try and spend more time with them, be more open about aspects of my life including work, relationships, and any news I may hear. The third resolution is to realign my faith. Something I have continuously struggled with is my faith. I have never been able to fully commit to religion and would like to attempt. To assist in completing this resolution accountability will be necessary along the way. This does not mean church every weekend but inviting religion into my life every week in one way or another. Looking more towards selfish resolutions I want to earn my Masters of Accounting this next year, resolution four, and save more money, resolution five. These resolutions will help set me up for more success in my professional career. These resolutions will be difficult to achieve but this challenge will help me continue to grow in my life as an individual.
